  3. Simmer the broth: Pour in the broth, add soy sauce and gochugaru (if using), and bring to a gentle boil. Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning—add rice vinegar if you like more tang.
  4. Cook the noodles: Add ramen noodles to the pot. Cook according to package instructions (usually 3–4 minutes).
  5. Garnish: Once noodles are ready, remove from heat. Ladle into bowls. Top each with a soft-boiled or poached egg, green onion, sesame seeds, and nori strips if desired.
